Château de Bosmelet

Greetings to all, and welcome to Bosmelet!

Take a walk in its park where three-centennial lime trees frame one of the largest green oases in Europe; wonder at its remarkable trees that are more than half a millenium old, or its enclosed gardens where flowers and vegetable are harmoniously entwined.

You may also discover the 18th-century chapel, the 16th-century orangery, the country house in Louis Treize style classified as Monuments Historiques (French national heritage), as well as some vestiges of World War II (currently under restoration work).

Upon demand can be arranged a private tour of the chateau’s historical halls (including the Alain Germain collections of opera costumes drawings, paintings and stage set elements), guided by the owner himself.
